Dark Skies Have Fallen

Dark Skies Have Fallen is a five-piece metalcore band from Naples, Florida, formed in the winter of 2003.

A unique combination of metal and hardcore, influenced by black metal, death metal, and hardcore. Chock-full of dark riffing, melodic harmonies, pounding drums, and sickening vocals. Formed originally as Lafe Flynn, Adam Whited, and Brodie Wheeler. Starting practice with just two guitars and vocals, they began to write music. Later, Nick (Evil Existence) joined as a temporary drummer along with Joe (Evil Existence) on bass. They helped play the first show. Drums were eventually replaced by Adam’s brother, Chris. Without bass for awhile, Pedro (ex-With Vengeance) took the position. He played for a few months but didn’t work out. Adam switched to bass (although still writing some guitar parts). Having then acquired another guitar player, Wayne Lai, this new lineup works well. Playing a number of shows in Naples, Ft. Myers, and Miami, Dark Skies is looking forward to expanding horizons, meeting new bands and new people.

In October 2004, the band changed its name to A Horror Story.
