    Canadian pianist, producer, and engineer. Staff producer for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, working for them in Winnipeg and Toronto. Co-founded the label Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1971 with Gene Lees where Bird was head producer. Married to singer / songwriter Mary Nelson.
