A Native New Yorker, David Padilla brings more than 20 years of music expertise to the underground music culture and is one of the purveyors of the Miami electronica sound explosion.

In 1989 his career took him to Miami's South Beach where he began his 9-year reign as the resident DJ for the famous Warsaw Ballroom. His next trend-setting venture was The Mix After Hours where he revolutionized the late night music scene in Miami. During the first week of December 2012 Padilla suffered three successive strokes leaving him partially paralyzed.
