American songwriter, viola player & publisher (born July 31, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA - died February 12, 1973).

Known for the song "There Must Be a Way" (co-written by [a=Robert Cook (2)] & Sammy Gallop), a song that charted four times in the U.S. & twice in the U.K. between 1945-67.

He also charted with "Wish You Were Waiting for Me" by Ginny Simms (1944, #23, co-written by Bob Russell) and "Are These Really Mine?" by Vaughn Monroe (1946, #12, co-written by Sunny Skylar & [a=Robert Cook (2)]).
