David (Dave) Sinclair (born 24 Nov. 1947 in Herne Bay, Kent, England), has been part of the progressive rock Canterbury Scene. He became famous with the band Caravan in which he was master of the typical Canterbury organ sound/playing, and was the author of some of their classic tracks.
He has been in and out of Caravan for the last 28 years, interrupted by brief stints with bands such as Matching Mole, Hatfield And The North and Camel, and various - mostly aborted - solo projects.
