About

American emotional hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia. Previously formed under the name Grip in mid-1992, but changed name to Dayspring in early 1994. As Dayspring, the band was only around for less than a year until November 1994. After some line-up changes, the final members split off into two bands; half continued playing under the name Acid Kills Flowers, which changed name to Cycle, while the others joined Lazycain (which had been formed in 1992 by an ex-Grip member).
