US coro, sax player, guitarist, songwriter working with Eddie Hernandez, MFSB, The Trammps, and The Salsoul Orchestra. Harris worked mainly at Philadelphia International. He is also the cousin of guitarist, producer etc., Norman Harris.
Along with Earl Young, and Ron Baker, he co-produced the 1977 Disco Champs album by The Trammps.
In 2019 he appeared on the The Doris Hall-James Indie Show twice. The first was the "Musical Journey's of Dennis Harris" and later, "Musical Journey's of Jimmy Williams and Dennis Harris".
