Dino Psaras

Electronic music producer based in Brighton, England, UK Dino Psaras began his DJ career in 1988, playing at small parties in southern England and covering a wide range of electronic music, from acid house to techno. A major turning point in his career occurred in 1992. After a trip to India, he became fascinated by the underground trance scene and its fresh, unfamiliar energy. He went on to DJ at London's early psychedelic parties—known as ACID (an electronic music concept)—performing alongside Mike Maguire (Juno Reactor). Subsequently, he had the opportunity to compose his own music, collaborating with Steve Ronan and Joti Sidhu on one of the first psychedelic trance projects, "Ayahuasca." He thus became one of the most revered trance DJs, performing worldwide: in London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, South Africa, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe, as well as at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. Dino is one of the three members of the project Cydonia, which released its debut album, "Haunted World," in 1999 via Blue Room.
