Distant Touch

Psychedelic trance project based in both the UK and South Africa Distant Touch is Ashley, a psytrance artist and producer based in both the UK and South Africa. His production and DJ style is a combination of full-on, dirty, fractal psychedelic beats encompassing a hybrid of both daytime and night time styles. His musical background began at the age of 8 when he started to learn to play the guitar. At the age of 17 he was playing trance in London clubs and small squat parties and started to write his own music in 2004 at the age of 19. He regularly performs both live and DJ sets at various parties in the UK, Europe and South Africa and has shared the stage alongside some of the premier acts in the global scene. Ashley has also released a number of EPs and had tracks featured on numerous compilations as well as working with various influential producers on a number of collaborations internationally and has various side projects also currently gathering momentum.
