Cajun/country band that began as an accordion-based ensemble in the late 1920s but was changed into a string band (two fiddles and two guitars) by Hector Duhon in 1930 after accordionist Octa Clark resigned due to travel constraints. After a break, the group was reformed in 1952 with Clark on board, and continued for another decade before taking another break. It was reformed again in the 1970s.
Line-up (1930): Hector Duhon - lead fiddle, vocals; Hector Stutes - second fiddle; Jesse Duhon - guitar; Willie Vincent - guitar, vocals
