Since it’s inception in 2003, Dj Child of Project Groundation Massive (PGM) has single handedly released over 50 mixtapes (cd’s) and over 100 remix’s on vinyl. The projects have received numerous accolades including; “Best Mixtape DJ of the Bay Area” (DJ Child—East Bay Express), ”Best Mixtape of the Year” (PGM vol. 21 “Nothing To Prove”—Riddim Magazine), “3rd Best Album of the Year” (PGM vol. 20 “Diplomatic Warrior”—Riddim Magazine), “5 Stars Album of the Month & Experts Top 10 Albums of the Year” (PGM vol. 18 “Above Dem”—The Beat Magazine), etc.
As a producer, he has placed beats on projects with Dead Prez, Busta Rhymes, Black Though (The Roots), Sizzla, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Dee 1, Capleton, Beanie Sigel, & KRS - ONE.
He has started producing for Movies, Documentaries & Web Series. Most recently, he signed a contract with Tony Hawk's "Ride Channel" on YouTube going from city to city across the world & skating with the who's who of skateboarders.
2015 is going to be a big year for DJ Child, recently signing with the Jacka of the Mob Figaz "Artist Records" as a DJ/Producer. He's alread released "Write My Wrongs" the Un-Official Street Album for the Jacka & Freeway (of Jay-Z's Roc Nation) to hype up their coast to coast coho album "Highway Robbery". And most recently Child just finished mixing & releasing "What Happened To The World"…The Jacka's 2nd official Street Album which has already been received with critical acclaim. 2015 is gonna be big year for DJ Child without a doubt. bless UP...
