    DJ Christos is one of South Africa's longest-spinning and certainly very influential house producer/DJs, having performed at the most seminal clubs in and around the Gauteng area, including Fourth World, Caesar's Palace, and Arena -- constantly crossing racial borders in those segregated times. Over the course of his career, he became instrumental in the development and promotion of afro-house and what was eventually to become the musical style known as "kwaito".
