Since the track "Nightoperator" which was played on VIVA and which was placed in the Top 5 from the VIVA Dance Charts, DJ Vesiga is a well known DJ in Switzerland.
But already before, Mischa Bättig alias DJ Vesiga wasn't an unknown person in the national scene. Since 2000, when he played on big events as Goliath, White Wolf, Best Of Switzerland or Explosion, many visitors know and like his skills.
In 2001, Vesiga mixed the D-Lite Compilation and released his first own tracks. "Follow Me" and "Intus" were popular and were used for different mix-compilations as "Best Of Switzerland" or "Futurescope".
The big success started: Vesiga got a lot of bookings and became more and more active as producer. Together with co-producers Franky Fonell, Chris Reece and Ivan Lujic, he produced under the alias 7th Sense the track "Angel Eyes" which was released on Fresca Records, including a remix by Dave 202 & Phil Green. "Angel Eyes" was also used for many compilations, such as "Energy" and "Evolution".
Meanwhile, Vesiga isn't only active in Switzerland. He was booked for playing in e.g. the ECU in Rimini (I), Camelot on Crete (GR), Factory in Dortmund (D) or the Kulturladen in Konstanz (D). Not to forget the major events where he was part of, like the Street Parade or Rave Olympia.
Last but not least, Vesiga got in contact with many medias: Magazines as "Raveline" or "Party News" wrote about him and he was guest in similar TV-shows or radio-programs .
Like this wouldn't be enough, Vesiga also started an own party called Space Flirt, which is now called a highlight. Because of the big success, Space Flirt were used as After Party, when the Lake Parade was over. Together with Franky Fonell and Chris Reece, Vesiga produced under the project Seashells the equal hymn.
In 2003, the first "Space Flirt"-Compilation (mixed by Vesiga himself) was released, not to forget "Night Operator" which was released in the same year. The track was played by artists as Paul van Dyk who spinned the track while the Closing-Party in Amnesia, Ibiza.
