Djumbo

About

Dutch female pop group trio, formed in 2004. The original line-up consisted of Lindsy Schuman (born 1 November 1983), Lotte Prijs (born 29 May 1984), and Svenja van Beek (born 2 November 1987). The three young women met in a dance school in Eindhoven, where their dancing skills were discovered by a record producer who signed them for their first single Hide And Seek, as a promotion campagne for a supermarket chain. Their first three singles entered top 5 in their home country's Singles Top 100 chart.

In 2011, Van Beek left and was replaced by Samantha Klumper. When Lotte Prijs left the group in 2015 to pursue a DJ career under the moniker Miss Faith, the group was rebranded as Frisz. Auditions were held to find a new third member, which they found in Danique van Roosmalen. The group was disbanded in 2018, but Djumbo announced a comeback in January 2024, with Prijs, Schuman, and Klumper again using the Djumbo name.
