Active in New Orleans and the Southwest during 1920s, during 1930s-1940s based in Texas and led own touring band.
Albert only occasionally played himself, preferring to manage and lead the band and write its arrangements.
In 1950s settled in San Antonio and until mid-1970s played with small groups.
Nephew of Natty Dominique.
