    British lyricist, born on 21 June 1938 in London, UK, who has notably worked with John Barry and Andrew Lloyd Webber. He has been awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) and was inducted into the songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007. Black was also the one-time personal manager of Matt Monro, Marti Webb and Michael Ball. Song titles at BMI listed under both Donald Blackstone and Donald Black.
