Don Rondo was a trad pop singer from the United States.

Rondo was born in Ware, MA, January 5, 1930. Whilst working on his father's dairy farm he sang locally and would go to New York City every Monday to see and watch the big names at the Paramount Theater. he then auditioned for Jubilee Records.

Rondo first became popular following the 1956 release of his rendition of the song "Two Different Worlds". Released by Jubilee Records in October 1956, the song spent three months on the Billboard chart, peaking at #11.

Rondo was a big voiced baritone singer was a throwback to a decade earlier when that type of vocalist ruled the airwaves. By th late 1950s the style was being displaced by newer sounds, specifically rock n roll.

By the mid-1960s, Rondo had moved into broadcasting. He did a number of voiceovers for radio and television commercials, including the popular jingles "Where the Rubber Meets the Road" for Firestone and "It's Us , Or Rust" for Ziebart.

In his later years, he became a radio presenter in New Hampshire.

Rondo died Jan. 27, 2011 in Contoocook, NH, U.S.A..
