donderfliegen was DEITIPHOBIA’s original name. According to DEITIPHOBIA’s 1991 debut Blonde Vinyl Record’s release, Fear of God, the band changed their name on their way to the Bushnell, Illinois Cornerstone Festival in 1991, as they felt that the name donderfliegen failed to properly represent the band’s image.
