Married to fellow songwriter Harry Link, with whom she sometimes collaborated. She also used her married name Dorothy Link.
Dick was educated at the Sternberg School of Music in Philadelphia, the Academy of Arts and the Academy of
Design. Songs she is known for include “Call Me Darling”, “By My Side”, “Until We Meet Again Sweetheart” and “The Kiss that You’ve Forgotten”.
She charted once in the U.S. in 1952 with "I May Hate Myself in the Morning" by Bette McLaurin & Her Friends #23 (co-written by Bennie Benjamin & George David Weiss).
