Alternative rock band from Manchester, England, which started out as the dance band Sub Sub.
The band comprises twin brothers Jez Williams (guitar, vocals) and [a=Andy Williams (4)] (drums, vocals), and Jimi Goodwin (bass, vocals, guitar).
Years active: 1998 – 2010 (hiatus), 2018 – present
During the band's hiatus, Jimi Goodwin released a solo album, while the Williams brothers regrouped as Black Rivers.
They began life as a Haçienda inspired dance band until their studio burned down and they lost all of their equipment, and then reformed as Doves.
