Drama Klub was a rap duo consisted of DJ Crossphada and Poppa Shot (pop-a-shot) from Massapequa (Long Island, NY). These 2 childhood friends formed the group circa 1995-1996 and released the wax "Goin' Down / Hear No Evil" which was their first and last record. It came out in 1996 on Big Time Ent., a record label managed by a guy named Mark Chapman who was their manager at that time and also their investor, he put up the money for that project. Both tracks of the wax "Goin' Down" and "Hear No Evil" were fully produced by Crossphada. In the mid-90s, Chris Crossphada was also the DJ for a college radio show (Stony Brook University) aired on WUSB 90.1FM called The Basement, hosted by James "DL" Ellison and HB. The song "Hear No Evil" also features an other emcee named Nat J. Burner who was Craig Mack hype man for a while. After that, the group disbanded due to the lack of money to drop an other 12" and Crossphada started to tour as a DJ with other rap artists like Mr Complex and El-Fudge.
