Dreyelands

DREYELANDS is a progressive metal band from Budapest, Hungary formed in 2002 by long time associates András Ádám Horváth (guitars) and Gergely Springer (bass). When Omar Gassama (drums), Zoltán Kas (keyboards) and Nikola Mijic (vocals) were added to the line-up they started performing live, at first covering other artists material but soon also incorporating their own material.

In 2003 the band recorded their first demo and in 2007 their first official effort was issued, an EP entitled "Can't Hide Away". A video was made for the title track, and it would go on to be featured in Headbanger's Ball in MTV Hungary. Another song: One Fall was featured in a compilation entitled 'Metal Crusade Vol. XVII' of the 117th (2008 December) edition of the German 'HEAVY' magazine.

In 2008 and 2009 the band recorded and then put the finishing touches on their debut full length production "Rooms of Revelation", and Finnish label Lion Music were impressed enough with the end result to sign the band, issuing the album in early 2010. By this time a line-up change had already taken place as well, as Kas left the band in 2009, replaced by György Nagy (keyboards).(Sebastian Maldonado (burritounit).
