East Man

Anthoney J Hart started this project in 2018 as an outlet for his unique take on Grime. Reducing the sound to its steely fundamentals, bringing in influences from Grime, Techno and Dancehall to gird the voices of the MCs he works with, creating a sound that he came to refer to as Hi Tek Grime, as well as inventing the 8 Bar Techno sub-genre. He has also started the Hi Tek Sounds record label to release his East Man productions, as well as collaborations with other musicians exploring similar musical areas. The project has now ended as of 2021.
