American photographer, graphic designer and illustrator. Born: April 18, 1950 in California.

He has art directed, photographed and designed hundreds of record album covers since late 1960's. His work is included in the permanent collection of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been featured on the covers of numerous magazines. His legendary photo of Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar on stage at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 is widely considered to be one of the most iconic rock and roll photographs of all time.
