Since the 80s, he had been the leader of Woody Allen’s jazz band and received a Grammy Award for his contribution to the soundtrack for Midnight in Paris. born: 26 Sept. 1940 in Lafayette, IN died: 7 April 2020 in NYC, NY from complications due to COVID-19.
