Formed by Doug Conlon and Annette Conlon as Somebody's Sister in 1992 in Denver, CO the band moved to Dallas, TX in 1994 and later changed their name to Eden Automatic.
Eden Automatic defined the new dark alternative by spiraling in and around silky vocals and adding erotic textures to an eerie soundscape. Layered in part by lead guitarist Doug Conlon, bassist Greg Terhune, and drummer Scott Miles with lead singer Annette Conlon playing rhythm guitar. A four-piece rock band from Dallas, TX fronted by Annette Conlon, Eden Automatic delivered the instant pleasure promised by their name. Constant travel built a regional fan base in TX, LA, CO, OK, and NM, - from small venues to fairs and festivals - Eden Automatic forged a new genre.
