A now-defunct indie rock band from Coram, Long Island, New York.
Formed in 1999 under the name Mannafest. The group members had been involved with music as early as 5 or 6 years old (Silverberg recalled writing his first tune in kindergarten.)
Changed names to Edison in 2002 and then Edison Glass in 2004. (The name is meant to suggest the band as innovators...much like prolific inventor Thomas Edison and classical minimalist composer Philip Glass.)
Group dissolved in 2008.
