El Stew

Short lived American avant-garde rock band.

In 1999, several members of Ben Wa's touring band would branch off to form their own band 'El Stew'.
Featuring guitarist Buckethead, drummer/beatmaker [a=Bryan Mantia] aka [a=Brain (26)], turntablist [a=Lou Quintanilla] aka [a=DJ Disk] (aka Phonosycographdisk of Invisibl Skratch Piklz), turntabilist Eddie Def aka [a=The Last Kreep] and bassist/producer [a=Steve Freeman (3)] aka [a=Extrakd]. The band would perform twice in 1999, releasing their debut album 'No Hesitation', followed by 'The Rehearsal' album in 2003 & 'Rehearsal #2 - The Dark Night Of A Million Stains' in 2011, way after the band break up.
Brain & (mostly) Buckethead had a fallout with DJ Disk after he released material they played on without asking for their permission.
