Eli Mohar (born 30 December 1948 in Tel Aviv, died November 30, 2006 in Azur) was an Israeli columnist, poet, writer and lyricist. He is known for his collaborations with the various member of the seminal '70s rock group Kaveret, particularly Yoni Rechter, and with Arik Einstein, both as a songwriter and as a performer. Mohar also wrote the words for the theme song for Shalom Sesame, the Israeli version of Sesame Street.
