Elisabeth Gjerluff Nielsen

Danish singer, songwriter and writer of children's books (August 16.1957, Skjern - October 24, 2022).

First came to prominence as prime songwriter, lead singer and co-founder of Voxpop in 1979. Debut as solo act under the stagename Elisabeth in 1985. Along with own solo career she has penned songs for other Danish artists as well. Also writer of books for children.
Younger sister to Peter A.G. Nielsen and Jens G. Nielsen from Gnags. Mother of Rosa Gjerluff Nyholm and Barbara Gjerluff Nyholm.
