    Morse was a popular singer in 1940s-50s. Her hits included "The Black Smith Blues", "Cow Cow Boogie" and "Milkman Keep Those Bottles Quiet."
    Morse influenced the rock singing style of the 1950's including Elvis Presley, who often credited her for teaching him how to sing.
