Eloy Alquinta

Chilean saxophone player. Son of Gato Alquinta, brother of Ankatu Alquinta, and half-brother of Aurora Alquinta and Moisés Alquinta. He was a founding member of Huaika (1995-2004) and La Saga (1999-2003). Along with his siblings Ankatu and Aurora, he joined Los Jaivas after their father died in early 2003. He remained with the band until his own dead; he suffered a heart attack in 2004.
