    Éphémère

Éphémère is a classical dark ambient project founded by Mond Renteria in December 2009. The band was originally based in Mexico City, Mexico, but in late 2017, Mond relocated to Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Over the years, Éphémère has had a multitude of revolving band members, in an attempt to develop the project into a black metal band. This includes Joffre O. Videz (from Delirium Cordia in 2009), Alexandre Julien (from Vision Éternel, who worked with the band on three different occasions in 2010, 2013 and 2015) and Manuel Chavez (from Sorrowbringer, in 2012). The project was under a short hiatus in 2011-2012, and has been on another hiatus since 2016, though Mond does not consider it dead. A great many recordings have taken place over time, but very few have been released so far; some dark ambient material recorded by Mond alone in 2012-2013 was eventually released in 2015.
