Erik Dahlbäck

Swedish drummer/percussionist that also plays piano, called Kapten, born in 1944 in Södertälje.

He was a member of the Gårunt Show 1965–1970 and has played with pianist Per Henrik Wallin, trumpeter Rolf Ericson and bassist Red Mitchell, among others. Dahlbäck was a founding member of Fläsket Brinner in 1970, left the band after their second album but returned in 1980.

Erik Dahlbäck is the younger brother of comedian Bernt Dahlbäck and the son of accordionist Allan Dahlbäck. He has three musically active children, namely producer and musician Andreas Dahlbäck, house disc jockey John Dahlbäck and singer-songwriter Erika Gellermark, and two daughters active in media, Jenny Grewdahl and Anna Dahlbäck.
