Swedish synthpop band from Ystad, Sweden. In 1986 Rickard Karlsson and Magnus Jönsson started a band called Avanti. Later the same year Fredrik Bergman joined the group, and Etage Neun was formed. In 1990 it was time for the bandmembers to do their compulsory time in the army. After it was finished they started studying at different universities both in Sweden and abroad. This meant that Etage Neun was put on hold for a long time. In 1997 they had ended their studies and began talking about getting back together and continue where they had left off. They released a CD in 1998 which was sold from their website. In 2002 they did a couple of re-union concerts in Ystad and then the band was put on hold again. In 2008 the band woke up again and since when releasing new songs.
