Evan Rogers

Evan, originally from Jubilee Community Church , Cape Town, spent close on 2 years, from August 2008, at Gateway church in Dubai. Evan and his wife, Tracy, relocated to the UK and spent 2 and a half years based at King’s church Norwich. Returning to SA shores, Evan spent 3 months with Godfirst Church in Johannesburg and then 2 years back home in Cape Town, serving various “Advance” churches in Cape Town. A new opportunity opened up for the Rogers’ to relocate to the USA. After 14 months in NYC, they are now based with Newfrontiers Church in Portsmouth, NH. A prolific songwriter and gifted musician, Evan has released numerous praise albums, including some of his great congregational songs, viz.” Celebrate in the Lord (This is where the party is)”. A number of his songs also appear on various live Kingsway recordings. Evan’s passion is to “Let the nations be glad” and is able to include various music styles and languages in a dynamic, vibrantly, joy-filled celebration context. Evan has been a regular praise leader at various conferences locally and internationally and has traveled widely sharing his gift, teaching and leading God’s people in Praise.
