Cleveland posi-hardcore punk band formed in December 1989 from the Former 'the Bagmen," after singer Don Foose departed. Founding members Scott Doland (Drums), & Tony Hinton (Bass) recruited "Downtown" Brown (guitar), and added vocalist Tony Erba. In 1992 the Bassist left the band to serve a Three year prison sentence. In 1993 vocalist Erba quit over the state of the hardcore scene in Cleveland. in 1994 Face Value did a European tour with replacement front man Tommy Viets. Jeff Desterhaft joined as singer in 1995 with the release of 'Choices.'
