About

Australian indie rock/pop band active from 1985 to 1995. Formed as a three-piece outfit in Canberra during late 1985. Their independent single 'Family Frolics (A Surprise Party)' was recorded in August 1986, not long after the band relocated to Sydney.
The Falling Joys reunited during 2011 for a small number of concerts in Canberra and Sydney. In November 2017 and February 2018 the Falling Joys toured Australia with The Clouds.
