In 1989, four young men from Miami, Dave Johnson, Edward Faison, Wayne Morrison and Princeton Chery, met another young man from Louisville, KY, Robert Wright at a talent show and decided to sing together. They decided to name themselves Force Five, after one of the groups they idolized Force MD's. They signed with independent record company Cyntone Records, who quickly put them in the studio where they recorded their first album "Faze 1". RCA later signed the group in 1992 and put them back in the studio to re-record their album and renamed it "Love Games". After the relationship with RCA ended, members Dave Johnson and Princeton Chery left the group and founding members, Edward, Wayne and Robert added longtime friend George Mckenzie. Wright later contacted founding members, Faison and Morrison and was once again in the studio recording their latest album "Unfinished Business" released in 2009.
