Fence Of Defense

Japanese rock band formed in June 1985 by [a618408], [a609102], and [a1069757].

Formed in June 1985 by three studio musicians affiliated with the music agency Being: bassist [a609102], guitarist [a618408], and drummer [a1069757]. After extensive songwriting and rehearsals, they debuted on June 21, 1987, with the album "FENCE OF DEFENSE" and the single "フェイシア".
Their live shows always sold out immediately, and in 1989 they performed successfully at the Nippon Budokan.
Their hits "セイラ," "時の河," and "DON'T LOOK BACK," which were used as theme songs for TV anime, were smash hits.
In 1996, the group moved from Mercury Music Entertainment to the Polydor / Primitive label, then to EastWest Japan in 1998, before going on hiatus in 1999. Following this, they pursued solo careers, formed other units, and left their agency.
In 2003, they resumed activities after a four-year hiatus, releasing an original album. In addition to their individual solo activities, they are also actively involved in live performances, music production, events, etc.
In 2022, they will celebrate their 35th anniversary since their debut.
