He had his own group, Los Satélites from the late 60's up until the late 80's, when he joined his two brothers (Ramón Ayala: Accordionist, José Luis Ayala: Drummer) in the group, Los Bravos Del Norte. He also had a one album endeavour with a group known as, Los Relampaguitos, a group he started with the brother of Cornelio Reyna.
