Nationalist Synthpop and Post-Punk band formed by Steve X in Southampton in December of 1981 as Luftwaffe X before changing their name to The Grey Wolves the following year. After several line-up changes, the band finally became The Final Sound in January of 1983. The band released a demo tape released by Defendant Tapes called "Play to Win" in the mid 80s and would then appear on the Rock-O-Rama Records compilation "No Surrender".
