Five and Tens are a 4 piece instrumental band named after Mississauga highway intersection 5 & 10 creating cinematic psychedelic jazz, funk and soul records under Vidal Recordings. Their music is inspired by warm 70's soul, funk and jazz analog soundscapes and experimentations. Known for their dynamic live shows, improvisational chops and explosive energy playing for breakdance battles to smooth laid back intimate sets in bars. The Five and Tens bring their live off the floor signature sound pulling contemporary forms of jazz, R&B, Disco, Hip-hop, Blues and Rock.
