Flame

About

Flame from the Russian Drum & Bass capital Saint-Petersburg started electronic music production in early 2000 while studying sound engineering. After one year of Electro and Techno he began to produce Drum & Bass together with his partner Kest as "Skyform". They had a bunch of soulful/liquidfunk releases on the Russian labels Track System, Resistance Music, Respect Records and Kazantip, and played on parties alongside big players like Goldie, Dom & Roland, Dillinja, Paradox, Pyro, Optiv, Shroombab, Loxy, Ink and others. Although Skyform does still exist, Flame has always been working on his own tunes, different in style from Skyform. In 2002 he was totally inspired by the new school of Neurofunk, and influenced by artists like Sinthetix, Vector Burn, Skynet, Kemal etc.
