Flash Point

Mike Hoffmann is the producer and rapper of the band Flash Point. Born in Hamburg, grown up in the Lueneburg Heath, now living in Leipzig. He makes music and writes songs since 14, inspired and motivated by techno -and eurodancemusic. Since many years he writes german-speaking songs too. Before 2 years he came back to electronic music and started to learn recording and mixing. He rediscovered his love to the "Sound of Frankfurt"-technomusic and Eurodance, and began to research for synthies and sounds that producers used in the 90's. Flash Point was founded as a fun-studio-project with hobby-female-singers and him, who's rapping, in March 2013. Shortly after they reached the 2nd and 3th place at the Eurodance-Songcontest in the german recording-forum "recording.de". The idea to Flash Point was born on a eurodance-party. Their motivation: To make new eurodance songs in the classicle style of the early and mid 90's in good quality.
