They basically started out as a The Blues Brothers tribute band. They released at least two albums:

The name:

“I want four fried chickens and a coke”

Jake and Elwood arrive at the Soul Food Café to collect the last two members of the band – Matt ‘Guitar’ Murphy and Blue Lou, the sax player. The place is owned by Mrs Murphy – portrayed by the amazing Aretha Franklin.

She takes the order from the Blues brothers – Elwood simply wants dry, toasted white bread. Jake orders four fried chicken and a coke.

Relaying the order to Matt in the kitchen, the realisation of what it really means is plain to see on Murphy’s face. He’s delighted to be snatched away from his drudgery.

Aretha tries to force him to stay, with a powerful rendition of ‘Think’. But it is too late. He’s sold on the idea of getting back out there. Into the limelight. And so, the band is fully reformed, and the mayhem can begin.
