    Francisco "Pacho" Zapata was born in Támesis, Antioquia, Colombia in the early 1940s, he is a composer, arranger and performer of various instruments including the Hammond organ. He joined the Teen Agers in 1960 and earned a privileged place in the Codiscos record company. He died on May 17, 2011 in Santa Marta.
