Frank Murder is the alias of Thorgeir Freeman Odinsson, from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Born in 1979 he grew up in the city's centrum and from a early age has worked in multiple artistic mediums. After starting out in street art at the age of 14 (grafitti, designing for tattoo parlors, etc), he moved on to schooling himself in the fine arts, and graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts at the young age of 22. After getting his B.A., Thorgeir, or Frank, started a daytime job as an art teacher.
