American composer, conductor, musician and publisher.
Much of his career was spent playing in or conducting traveling circus bands, later on he conducted high school, municipal and other kinds of wind bands.
He composed more than 100 marches plus many other works like waltzes, screamers, overtures, etc.
In 1920 he founded his own publishing company.
