    Fredrik Malmberg

    Swedish conductor and church musician, born February 22, 1969. He is a trained church musician with a diploma in organ playing from Malmö Academy of Music and Paris. As a 25-year-old, he won first prize in organ improvisation in a competition in Biarritz. In 2003 he founded his own vocal ensemble Vokalharmonin. In 2011, Malmberg was appointed professor of choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. He is a church musician in Oscar's parish in Stockholm and since 2012 chief conductor of Eric Ericson's Chamber Choir. Fredrik Malmberg grew up in Tingsryd in Småland.
